I love that the prayers cover so many different areas of a son’s life—his faith, character, protection, choices, relationships, future, and walk with God. What I appreciated most is that this isn’t really a book you read once and put back on the shelf. It’s something you can return to again and again as your son grows and faces different seasons of life. Sometimes I know exactly what I want to pray for my children but struggle to find the words, and having prayers like these gives me a place to start while still allowing me to add my own personal prayers. As a mom, one of the greatest things I can do for my sons is pray for them, especially for the things I cannot control or protect them from myself. This book is a beautiful reminder to continually bring them before God and trust Him with their lives. I can see myself keeping this one close and using it for years to come.

This is a great book to help guide you through prayers that you pray for you son. I originally thought it would be a book to give to my son to help him with his prayer life but that wasn't the purpose of this book. This a great way to hold yourself accountable to pray intentionally for your child and the things he may be going through. Also, if it's out and part of your devotional, your child will know you are praying for him.

I really enjoyed *87 Prayers For My Son*. As a mother of a little boy, I found this book very meaningful and comforting. My husband is a Christian, so I especially appreciated that the prayers are rooted in Scripture and focus on faith, character, protection, friendships, and the man our son will become. I love that it’s not just a prayer book but also gives you space to reflect and write your own thoughts and answered prayers. It’s something I can imagine coming back to as my son grows. A beautiful and thoughtful book for any Christian parent who wants to intentionally pray for their son.

What you hold is not a book about prayer. It is a book of prayers: actual, specific, scripture-based prayers to pray over your son, organized around the real seasons and struggles of his life. When your mind goes blank, you open to the page that matches the moment, and the words are already there, waiting for you. Each one is anchored in a verse of Scripture, so that when you pray, you are not praying your own wishful thinking but the very promises of God spoken back to Him over your boy. However, the shipping did take a little longer than what I expected, but it is a must read for all christian family!
